Why the Flower of Life?
Updated: Aug 22, 2018
The shapes that come together within this circle are considered sacred geometry. Sacred geometry? The shapes which make up all of the universe from the littlest to the largest, within and without.
I especially like this particular symbol because it is not only pleasant to look at but conveys a message which I want my subconscious to always embrace while I am out and about doing what I do. :)
See how the flowers are really made up of concentric circles? One circle moves into another circle, into another circle and so on, making and creating flowers. Like life.
I am a girl, a woman, a wife, a mom, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister and so much more. I move and form new circles in my relationships and new life experiences. All hopefully with a lot of good intention, my work and efforts come out beautifully like flowers within.
The Mouth of Chi
I didn't really have a plan when I laid down the stencil to my front porch. I just knew that I wanted the energy of the symbol to flow into my home at the front entrance.
There's my dog Jack, checking things out in the front door. Do you think he can feel the energy? :)
In Western Black Hat
The front door is considered "the mouth of chi." This is the opening for all outside opportunities to come into my own private space called home. But I can apply this little principal anywhere I live. House, apartment, condo, even my place of business. The front door is opportunity so I don't ever block it from receiving.
